Pardon My Fro
Privacy Policy
This page explains what this site records when you visit it, who receives it, and how to stop it.
What we record
When the measurement tools below are active for you, they record your visit to this site: the page you viewed, when you viewed it, clicks on the Shop online retailer buttons (reported as ViewContent with the retailer name), clicks on store Directions buttons (reported to Meta as FindLocation, without your entered ZIP code or the store address), your browser and device type, your IP address in approximate form, and a cookie-based advertising identifier stored in your browser. The analytics tool also records how you move through the page — scrolls, clicks and general on-page interaction — but it does not record your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form.
Who receives it
That information is sent to Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram), which operates the Meta Pixel installed on this site. Meta may associate it with a Meta account you are signed into.
The on-page analytics are sent to Microsoft Corporation, which operates the Microsoft Clarity tool installed on this site. Microsoft may associate it with a Microsoft account you are signed into.
The waitlist page
On the Harlem Waitlist page, the signup form is run by Klaviyo, which receives the name, phone number and email address you enter so the brand can contact you about the drop — the consent text shown on that form explains those messages. When the form is submitted, this site also tells Meta that a signup happened (reported as a Lead). That notice contains none of your form details.
Why we receive it
- Measurement — to count visits, online retailer clicks and store Directions clicks and tell whether an ad led someone here. A retailer click does not confirm a purchase or that the retailer page loaded; a Directions click does not confirm a store visit.
- Ad optimization — to let Meta show this site’s ads to people more likely to respond.
- Site analytics — to see how the pages are used, which parts are read and where visitors drop off, so the pages can be improved.
- Waitlist signups — to count them for the same ad measurement.
Consent and opt-outs
This site does not run a cookie banner. Instead, the measurement tools are switched off before they load for visitors whose country requires consent first (the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland) and for anyone whose country cannot be determined. Those visitors are not measured at all.
Elsewhere, the tools are on by default. You can stop them at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser, by blocking connect.facebook.net, facebook.com and clarity.ms, or by using Meta’s own ad controls at facebook.com/about/ads. Withdrawal stops future measurement; it does not delete data Meta already received.
